Perhaps there is a call on your life that you know very little about. Perhaps you feel something wants to be born, but you’re not sure of what it wants, or what may be asked of you, or what might need to change. Perhaps this call is your own soul knocking on the doors of your current waking life.
To say “yes” is to descend.
Who is it for?
These programs are for those interested deepening their own unique conversation with soul, a kind of depth descent, and for those who feel blocked in their own spiritual life. If you’re having a “mid-life crisis,” even if you’re not in mid-life, I see this an opportunity given by the soul, rather than a problem. If you have questions about your life’s purpose, beyond or beneath what you do for a living, then you’ll find a home in these courses. If something about your spirituality is not making sense, you will find a safe (enough) place to explore these questions. If you feel like you’re at a crossroads and are unsure of what’s next, these intensives are designed to help.
What topics and type of work do we cover?
In my Wild Soul programs we study spiritual maps, read stories and articles, invite honest dialogue, engage in dreamwork, and encourage nature-based practices. These programs combine my years of experience leading spiritual Pilgrimages to Israel, my pastoral work, my teaching experience, and my ongoing guide training at Animas Valley Institute in nature-based, soul-oriented programs.

You will journey with other women and men as we explore the mysteries of soul-oriented work. Over the course of each program, we hope to deepen together your own relationship with Mystery and get clearer about living the largest story you’re capable of living.

In person cohorts meet in Grand Rapids outside or indoors at specific days and times. The other cohorts meet online.

I’ve come to see how dreams stand between what we know and what we do not know. This 4 week program is designed to facilitate a deeper understanding of dreams, and how they can influence our growth and development. The book Iron John by Robert Bly is one of the most influential books of my life. This year, I am offering a deep study of the book, and the myth, for men called to understand and explore their own Sacred Masculine. This nine month course will include guided book discussions, my own teaching, group conversation, an email council between sessions, practices for deepening the work, and one one-on-one session during the year.
