Companion-Guiding is about surrendering to the call of Soul and Spirit.

Companion-Guiding is the most rewarding part of my personal work in the world. The guides and spiritual directors in my own life have been invaluable agents of challenge and encouragement, mirroring back what was hard to see, and my own blocks and gifts.

Working one-on-one, over time, is a growing passion of mine, and a place where others are able to dive deeper into their longings, doubts, hopes, and desires. For those embarking on the unsettling path of soul discovery, spiritual adventure, cultivating wholeness, deepening their relationship with the Sacred, the Mystery, Companion-Guide can be extremely helpful.

What is a “Companion-Guide”?

Companion-Guiding is my term for the ancient archetype of Mentor, or Soul-Guide. This role is as old as the human tradition, though largely forgotten in the modern world. The Mentor is one who bears witness to one’s initiation process, which is the work of a great Mystery, not the Mentor. I’ll come alongside your journey of soul descent and spiritual development, offering mirroring, questions, dreamwork, and various nature-based practices. My work is informed by my ongoing training at Animas Valley Institute and my experiences as a guide, pastor, and teacher.

Who is it for?

Those who want to grow up spiritually, who long to know their voice beneath their voice, who are existentially stuck, who are in the midst of major life changes, who are underwater and have tried therapy and coaching only to find some other tug at work, those who’ve had mystical or numinous experiences and are unsure of how to integrate them, those who feel the paradox of crises and calling.

What type of work it this?

At the heart of this work is an honest and confidential conversation about your longings and hopes, heartbreaks, and sense of purpose. We will work with your dreams, engage in practices, study maps of spiritual growth, read myths and stories, dive deeper into your wounds and gifts, as well as discover new approaches to cultivate your capacities for wholeness. Together we will listen for the mysterious emergence of your own soul, your way of being in the world, the largest story you are capable of living. Ultimately this work is about surrender to the ways in which Mystery wants to initiate you into your fullest and most meaningful life. What if something other than your own ego begin to have a say?

SESSION LENGTH

One hour sessions

WHERE AND WHEN

We can meet in person, online, or over the phone. The frequency can range from every two weeks to once a month (the most common), or even less frequently. I also offer more intensive weekly sessions for those needing or wanting more.

COST

$100 an hour

6 sessions $550

12 sessions $1000

Weekly Depth Intensive.

For those wanting weekly meetings, and can commit 3 months minimum. $600 per month.

Companion-Guiding is about paying careful attention to places of crisis, calling, spiritual blocks, questions, breakdowns, and breakthroughs.
